Suriname
US$ 1 million grant for each CariCom member-State for community development projects under India-UNDP Fund was announced during India-CariCom meeting in September 2019. Under this grant, one project submitted by Suriname side titled as 'Enhance early warning service delivery to communities of Suriname in order to build their resilience to flooding due to excess rainfall’ bearing a tentative cumulative cost of US$ 246,852.71 has been approved.
