Capacity Building
- Capacity building programmes including through short-term and long-term training courses, play an important part in Bharat’s development cooperation efforts with Vietnam.
- Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR ) provides about 50 annual scholarships to Vietnamese students and scholars for undergraduate, post graduate and doctorate studies in Bharat. As on date, more than 3000 Vietnamese participants have availed various courses under ITEC programme while another 500 students and experts have utilized ICCR scholarships in Bharat.
Grants & Concessional Finance
In the past, Bharat’s development cooperation included setting up English language training centres, establishing ICT training centres, providing supercomputers, training and technical assistance for Vietnamese institutions.
